Case Study – Meyer Industrial Screw Pump

This case study was for a custom built screw pump solution for a high temperature pneumatic conveyance system experiencing excess leakage and downtime.

Information was obtained by reviewing client's tech specs on related products, and by directly interviewing the client's client to obtain the information necessary to illustrate their unique problem.

Additional Challenges

This case study was unusually challenging because the client's client did not want any technical specifications for the industrial process included in the case study. But, without that information it is impossible to illustrate how the solution was effective.

Collaboration with the client's engineer provided additional technical detail, and achieved a successful compromise with their client on what information could be included.

Formatting

The client had planned to publish this (and all future) case studies in plain black and white text with no formatting or design. I consulted with the marketing manager regarding this issue, resulting in the client having a standard case study template designed for ongoing use.
