Wood Writes is freelance business writing service focused on the needs of the commercial industrial sector, and of private executives and technical professionals. The service launched in 2005, after Michelle spent the early part of her career writing in corporate positions. She has been writing professionally for over 20 years.
Over the years she has handled corporate assignments ranging from large, structured projects with many deliverables to urgent, same day rewrites.
About Michelle
Between engineering coursework, a technically specialized communications degree, a biological sciences degree, and hands-on experience working in manufacturing and clinical settings, Michelle has the experience necessary to integrate with technically oriented project teams working with complex subject matter.
Real world experiences taught her to apply technical knowledge in a practical way, a uniquely skilled perspective which enhances her ability to effectively serve both commercial and private clients.
Michelle is particularly passionate about crafting effective resumes. She spent the early part of her career in several Human Resources positions, where she had a direct role in reviewing resumes, screening candidates and conducting background checks.
She firmly believes everyone deserves to have their value represented fully and accurately, regardless of whether they're an international CEO or fresh out of college. She works with individuals at all career levels, though her core resume client base is industrial professionals, mid-upper level executives and IT professionals.
