Wood Writes copywriting service generates the content for print or digital marketing collateral, websites and business process documentation.
A writer with a technical background paired with corporate experience is the perfect combination to meet the practical marketing and internal documentation needs of your business.
Marketing Collateral
Experienced with a wide range of print and digital marketing materials, including:
|
|
I also have limited experience with editing radio ad spots, and have contributed to / reviewed technical content for marketing video scripts.
Business Process Documentation
I honed my skills writing complex business documents in a federally regulated, cGMP compliant, ISO certified manufacturing environment in a global pharmaceutical firm, and in a global technology consulting firm. My experience includes:
|
|
I have a deep understanding of how clear, coherent operating procedures appropriately tailored for the audience can enhance operational efficiency, decrease downtime, reduce manufacturing error rates and minimize audit observations.
Deliverables
Deliverables are generated in Microsoft Word, and provided to the primary contact and any relevant project team members for content review and approval. Content reviews may also be performed within PDF mock ups provided by a graphic design partner, depending on client preference and stage of a project.
It is generally expected the graphic designer or web developer will integrate the approved copy with the design elements.
In special cases such as case studies and operating procedures, content can be integrated in an existing template provided by the client.
Rate Structure
Copywriting is done on a flat fee basis, based on the scope of the project. The fee includes the initial draft as well as two free rounds of revisions.
In the rare circumstance that more than two rounds of revisions are requested, additional work is billed at an hourly rate.
Document Retrieval
It's fairly routine for clients to call years later asking if I still have a copy of their marketing materials because there was a computer crash, or they got lost during a staffing change.
I maintain a copy of all completed client files in a secure, cloud-based backup service and am happy to provide yours on request. There is a small document retrieval fee for obtaining archived files.
